Are you signed up to donate blood on Wednesday November 29th? If so listen carefully: don't forget to drink plenty of water the day before your donation. Eat a big breakfast and lunch and get a lot of sleep the night before. Lastly, be sure to bring your ID! And thank you for saving lives!

Radford National Honor Society Holiday Drive for the Needy

The National Honor Society is collecting packages of feminine hygiene products for women, razor and shaving cream kits for men, and new underwear for children. This is a drive for the needy and is our attempt at providing some basic needs for the underserved.

Donations will be collected in each advisory. The class donating the most pieces of the items will be awarded with a prize. Collections run from now until the end of exams. Join the NHS on this worthy cause!

HOSA Chocolate Fundraiser

HOSA is selling the World's Finest Chocolate in three flavors - almond, mint and caramel. Each box sold helps our members offset the costs for state competition in February. Check us out from Nov 14 thru Nov 23 after school by the front office. You know you love them, so come and get yours!

New Year's Ball

New Year's Ball will be on January 13th (Saturday) at the Japanese Cultural Center from 5:30 pm to 10 pm. Permission forms can be picked up in the front office or room 113. You will need parent signature, and have no outstanding obligations. Bids will start at $40 from Nov 20th to 22, then $45 from Nov 27-29th, then $50 Nov 30-Dec 4th, then $55 from Dec 5-8th, and finally $60 from Dec 11 till we sell out. This is open to all grades.

Hawaiian Airlines Ka Ho'okele Explorers Program

Discover careers in aviation! Hawaiian Airlines and Boy Scouts of America is kicking off the Ka Ho'okele Explorers Program. This is a hands-on program that exposes students to the world of aviation to promote aviation careers and career skills. Students will participate in hands-on learning experiences in Maintenance, Cargo, Flight Division, Air Traffic Control, and more; develop career skills in leadership; network with professionals; increase opportunities for greater community involvement, and more. Graduation is in 7 months Seniors!! Buy your cap and gown before it's too late. Now until Nov 30 is $52.36, Dec.1 -Mar.1 is $72.36, Mar.2 - Apr. 11th is $92.36. Blood Drive 11/29

The second blood drive of the year is coming up Wednesday, November 29th. Anyone 16 or older is eligible with parental permission. Come get a form from Mr. Patcho's room in 118 to sign up! All forms need to be turned in before Thanksgiving Break.
