Radford Athletics SY 21-22

Interested student-athletes, summer weights and conditioning is coming up and fall sports will be starting up during the summer. Please go to the Athletics page of the Radford website to contact the coach of the sport you are interested in competing ASAP. All required forms (DOE clearance info) need to be turned in before you may practice.

Virtual Senior Luau for entire state

HSAA has sponsored a virtual senior luau for every school to participate. Radford was one of ten schools who took the opportunity to promote their senior talent and also help spread the aloha for the senior class of 2021. Ka'ulwena Saladino performed and Co President Trinity Tiitii did the introduction. They both did a wonderful job in representing Radford. Click on the heading to view the video.

COVID-19 Vaccine Bus is coming to Radford on May 17

Hawaii Pacific Health will be administering COVID-19 vaccinations to all interested Radford staff, teachers, students and their families, 12 years and older on campus on Monday, May 17th. Please click on the heading for details about how to make an appointment and what to expect. An additional consent form for Radford students is also required.

Keep Calm, Mask On

Masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19. HOSA-Future Health Professionals club cut, sewed and added ear bands to 160+ masks to be given out to randomly selected students on campus. Follow us on IG @radfordhosahi to find out where more of our masks will be made available around campus, beginning on Monday, 1/11, on a first come, first serve basis.

Radford High School Step Challenge 2021

As part of the American Heart Challenge, a 3 week effort to promote health hearts, HOSA hosted a STEP Challenge for students and teachers. More than 40 teams made up of students and teachers competed to see who could have the most (average) steps for the week of April 12-18, 2021. Our winning team was Team DONKEY, the mighty duo of Senior Jonah Lee and Mathematics Senpai Mr. Takiguchi. Together they completed the equivalent of a half marathon (13.1 miles) almost every day! Way to go Donkeys!

Get Your Boba, Support AVID!

Come get your boba at Teapresso on Wednesday April 28th and Thursday April 29th between 4 and 7 pm only! Come to the Salt Lake Teapresso on Lawehana Street behind Target. Proceeds go towards supporting our AVID Seniors! Click heading for details.
