RHS Curriculum Fair 2018

The annual RHS Curriculum Fair will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018 from 5:45pm - 7:15pm in the Gym. This is an opportunity to learn about the courses offered at Radford and to assist you in making informed decisions as you register for next year.

Modified Schedule for Thursday, November 8, 2018

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, Aloha Stadium will be hosting Hawaii’s very own Bruno Mars in concert. Due to the anticipated traffic that will result, Radford High School is adjusting the school bell schedule. School will end at 12:45pm that day to accommodate for the safe exit of our students, staff and families.

All Radford school bus riders will need to report to their waiting areas immediately afterschool. Buses will depart the high school by 1:00.

Afterschool practices and activities are cancelled for that day.

College Planning Day

The Radford Complex will be hosting a College Planning Day for Parents on Saturday, October 27, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Learn about the college application process and financing your child's college education. Space is limited, so register today be emailing Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 3. Upcoming Calendar Dates and Schedule Changes

There will be no school on Monday Oct. 22 due to the Complex Waiver Day. Tuesday, Oct. 23rd will be a Monday schedule with dismissal at 2:40. Wednesday Oct 24th is PSAT testing for ALL 9th and 10th graders and any 11th grade students who signed up. No school for 12th graders and non-testing 11th graders on Wed Oct. 24th. Thursday and Friday are regular school days.

The PSAT/NMSQT will be given on Oct. 24, 2018. All 9th and 10th graders will be administered the exam and is mandatory. Any 11th graders that registered will be also be taking the test. Please report to school by 7:45, your room assignment for the test will be posted throughout the main hallway. Release time is 1:15, buses will arrive at 1:30. 12th graders do not have school, please do not report on the day.

Hello Radford,

One of our very own Radford students, McKenzie Long, is one of the top 6 finalists on Island Idol. The winner of Island Idol will move on to the auditions for American Idol in LA.

Homecoming Dance

Homecoming Dance Bids are more than half gone. Don't forget to pick up your permission form and pay in room 113 during recess and lunch. You will need your parent, lthe ibrarian, and account clerk in the office to sign before paying for your homecoming dance. It is now $45 CASH OR CHECK ONLY. It is at Honolulu Country Club, for a dinner and dance on Sept 29th Saturday 530 pm to 10 pm. If you have any questions see Mr. Goto in room 113. Once we sell out, that is it.

NJROTC 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Faculty and students, you are all cordially invited to join the Radford NJROTC Cadets on Tuesday, September 11th at 7:15 in front of the flagpole for the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. If you are passing the flagpole area during the time between 7:15 and 7:45, please be respectful as the NJROTC Cadets, along with representatives from the military, fire and police departments, medical and Mr. Sunday will be placing leis at the flagpole in honor of all the men and women that lost their lives on that tragic day. Please come out to pay your respects and honor the men and women who tragically lost their lives on 9/11!
