Open Mic Night Dinner and a Show

Aloha! Please come out and support our RHS Music Students as they perform at our bi-monthly Open Mic Nights. Our next one is on Friday, February 28th at 5:30pm in the RHS Cafeteria. We will be serving dinner as follows: Alfredo with or without chicken, salad, a dessert and water. Tickets are $10.00 pre-sale or at the door. Pre-sale is prefered. Hope to see you there!

Radford High School 2020 Junior Senior Prom

Radford High School's Junior Senior Prom will be on March 28th 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa from 530p-10p.

Bids are still on sale for $80 till Valentines Day (Feb 14th). February 14th will be the last day for prom bid sales. Get yours before the deadline and before we sell out. Forms are available in Mr. Baba's room (163), Mr Goto's room (113), or Ms. Tiitii's room (282). Bids are on sale at lunch only in room 163 (Mr. Baba).

IMPORTANT Upcoming Dates Feb. 24 and Feb. 25

Monday, Feb. 24th is a Tuesday schedule with school ending at 2:10.
Tuesday Feb 25th is ACT testing day for all students in an 11th grade advisory.
Students in 9th, 10th, and 12th grade advisories do not have school that day. ACT Testing will end at 1:15. Bus pick up immediately following end of testing.

Learn to Protect Yourself

Have you ever been scared of walking alone at night? The Legacy Club is offering a Self Defense Seminar after school on February 28th in the wrestling room. It is taught by a self-defense instructor Master Charles Gooden who teaches self-defense awareness skills and practical self-protection techniques that do not require prior martial arts experience. If you are going off to college or ever find yourself alone, you should know how to protect yourself. You are important. The best thing is it is free! Again that is Friday, February 28th after school in the wrestling room. Stop by Ms. Griffay's room 151 to sign up and pick up a waiver form.

Seniors Class of 2020 Graduation Reminders!

Attention Seniors!

Please ensure all your outstanding dues are paid, the copy of your birth certificate is submitted to your counselor, your senior contract is signed, and your cap and gown is ordered from ASAP.

If you do not have these items, you may not participate in the graduation ceremony.

Are you unsure if you submitted all your items? See Mr. Baba in room 163 during recess or lunch to check. Your advisory teachers have been distributing reminder cards about your missing documents/payments since the beginning of 3rd quarter.

Our first Grad practice will be on Friday Feb 7th in the cafe during advisory. Please come down with your advisory class and be on time.

Record Breaking News for Radford Swimming

Congratulations to our boys 200 yard Breast Stroke Relay Team! Jake Palmieri, Pierce Honda, Jonah Lee, and Jacob Rauscher swam a 1:55.59 and broke a long standing record of 1:57.82 held by Kaiser High School since 1988 at the OIA Relay Championship on Saturday, January 4th.
