Radford NJROTC Color Guard places 2nd at Drill Meet

Congratulations to the Radford NJROTC Color Guard for winning 2nd place at the West Point Drill meet this past Saturday. The Color Guard team has now won 1st and 2nd place in their last two drill meets. Shout out goes to the Color Guard team members, Wester Gapasangra (Team Captain), Dan Balanon, Bryce Bentcliff and Aldreck Agmata. Great job and HOOYAH RAM BATTALION!!

Chinese Lion Dance

There will be a Traditional Chinese Lion Dance at our multi-cultural day celebration. The lion is a symbol of power, wisdom and GOOD FORTUNE, it chases away evil spirits and brings happiness, longevity and GOOD LUCK!
The Chinese language class is asking students to help us feed the lion to bring yourself good fortune. During there performance hold a $1 dollar up and when the lion comes place it inside of its mouth. You can also place it in a red envelope. Happy Fortune!

Summer Paddling Program

Like hanging at to the beach? Radford paddling team is starting their summer program on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4-6pm at Ke'ehi Lagoon near the airport. Starting April 16. all is welcome! NO experience necessary, it can help you on next OIA season if you decide to join during. The summer program involves traveling to deferent beach locations around the island, learning Hawaiian culture and possibly a trip to Kona Hawaii to race in the worlds largest canoe event or traveling out of state. Ramusical This Friday!

The Fine Arts Department would like to invite you to "Ramusical" coming up on Friday April, 26th at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 pre-sale (see an acting student to purchase a ticket) and $8 at the door. This show is a fully student produced performance that includes musical numbers from, "Grease", "School of Rock", "Rent", "High School Musical", and several other shows. There will also be original skits written, produced and directed by our Radford students. Visual art students will be displaying their original artwork in a gallery in the front of the cafeteria as ticket holders walk in so be sure to come a little early to enjoy some great visual art and to get a good seat. Smarter Balanced Assessment: (Grade 11 only)

All students in grade 11 will be participating in the Smarter Balanced Assessment in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Part 1 of the assessment will take place on Tuesday, April 16th from 8:00 - 11:45. Bus pick up will be at 12:00. There will be no school for students in Gr. 9, 10, and 12.
