Radford High School Junior-Senior Prom

Attention Juniors and Seniors (parents and guardians included):

Radford High School's Junior-Senior Prom "A Night to Remember, Under the Stars" will be on Saturday March 28th 2020 at The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa from 5:30-10:00pm.

Forms were distributed during advisory on Wed Dec 18th. Additional forms are available in Mr. Baba's room 163 or Ms. Tiitii's room 282.

First day to purchase bids will be on Jan 13, 2020. Forms must be completely filled out and signed in order to purchase bid(s). Come to room 163 to purchase your bids.

If you have questions, please see Mr. Baba or Ms. Tiitii.

TASK WORKSHOPS- PSAT Scores (Grade 11), Setting Financial Goals (Grade 9-12)

Friday, 2/14 will be a double TASK. During the double TASK there will be two workshops you have the option to attend. If you are a Junior and would like to learn about your PSAT scores see Mrs. Kau in Room 131 for a TASK Workshop Pass. Blood Drive Feb 12

Every day, hundreds of people’s lives depend on volunteer blood donors. By giving the gift of life on a regular basis, you help to ensure that blood will be there for you, the people you love, and anyone else who needs it. You can be a life saver by signing up to donate blood on February 12th. Grab a form from room 254 or 134 and turn it in by January 31st to ensure your appointment time!

2nd annual Maker's Explorium @ Radford High

Please join us from 9-2 on Saturday, Feb 8th for our second annual Maker’s Explorium! It will be a day full of crafts and lots FREE hands-on STEM activities for kids of all ages. We will have drone racing, CO2 car races, lightsaber combat by Ludosport, and performances by Radford High's guitar and band ensembles as well as the choir. There will also be a loco-moco cook-off and bake-off between Radford High and Kaiser High culinary students and they will be mentored by chefs from Top of Waikiki and Roy's...please come down to taste, judge, and vote for Radford. You can also play chess against students from Makalapa elementary and play with robots from Aliamanu Middle School. There will be lots of food and activities for all ages...please come by Radford High from 9-2 on Saturday, Feb. 8th

Tri-M Music Honor Society's Valentine's Dessert and Movie

Aloha! As Valentine's Day approaches, Radford's Tri-M Music Honor Society would like to invite you to our first ever Valentine's Dessert and Movie Night on Thursday, February 13th at 6:00pm! Please consider enjoying an evening eating some sweets with your sweetheart, while enjoying a romantic comedy movie. Attention Senior Parents/Guardians!

Please order your child's cap and gown from Balfour.com. Your child should have received a reminder form through their advisory classes on W DEC 4th if their cap and gown has NOT been ordered yet.

Cap and Gown deliveries will be done at the end of FEB 2020. No Cap and Gown=No participation for the graduation ceremony. No exceptions.

Western Division Cross Country

Congratulations to the Radford Cross Country Team on their performance at the 2019 Western Division Championships. Top 10 finishers were JV Boys: Adam May - 8th place, Carson Smith - 10th place. Varsity Girls: Ekaterina Martyusheva- -2nd place, Naomi Bates - 3rd place, Summer Herbertson - 4th place, Kaelyn Mole - 7th place, Aaliyah Saunders -10th place. Varsity Boys: Matthew Hoffman - 3rd place, James May - 5th place.
Varsity Girls Team - 1st place Western Division Champions. Girls team members were: Ekaterina Martyusheva, Naomi Bates, Summer Herbertson, Kaelyn Mole, Aaliyah Saunders, Marianna Johnson, Gloryanne Romero. Varsity Boys Team – 1st place Western Division Champions. Boys team members were: Matthew Hoffman, James May, Jonah Lee, James Baptist, Parker Smith, Justin Coronado, Charlie Butz. JV Boys Team – 4th place. JV boys team members were: Adam May, Carson Smith, Aidan Eldridge, Michael Johnson, Mark Hoffman, Julian Vrana, Chase Forch. Way to go Rams!

Congratulations to the Radford NJROTC Drill team for winning 3, 1st place trophies at the Tropic Lightning Drill Meet. The drill team took 1st place in the Unarmed Exhibition and Regulation competitions and Color Guard competition. What a great start to the 2019-2020 drill competition! HOOYAH RAM Battalion!
