Additional Behavior Expectations


Motorized Vehicle Helmet Rule

In accordance with Hawaii State Statutes: ALL students who ride Motorcycles, Scooters, Motorized bikes or Mopeds on RHS property must be wearing a Hawaii DOT Approved Helmet.  Students who are not wearing a Hawaii DOT Approved Helmet MUST GET OFF and "WALK" their vehicle to an RHS parking spot.

Public Display of Affection (PDA)

Students must display mature and respectable behavior at all times.  Public displays of affection have no place on our campus.  An administrator will contact parents to notify them of unacceptable behavior.

Walls and Railing Safety

To ensure the safety of all people on campus and to avoid accidents from occurring, the following are prohibited

  • Sitting is not permitted on the low walls on the second floor and all stairwells
  • Dropping objects from the second floor (aside from staff-supervised, instructional activities with safety measures in place
  • Spitting
  • Riding of scooters, skateboards, and bicycles on campus
  • Running in the hallways and stairways is prohibited.
